Urovo is proud to support Hermes Germany in its latest large-scale investment in digital infrastructure, equipping its network with tens of thousands of next-generation handheld scanners.
As one of Germany’s leading parcel delivery companies, efficient, customer-centric logistics are a main focus for Hermes. This latest rollout marks a significant step forward in optimizing last-mile delivery, logistics operations, and in-store parcel handling across more than 17,000 parcel shops.
At the heart of this transformation is a customized version of the Urovo DT66, designed in close collaboration with Hermes Germany to meet the real-world demands of logistics professionals.
By listening closely to user feedback and operational needs, Urovo worked hand-in-hand with Hermes Germany to develop a solution that delivers:
- Enhanced usability in all environments
- Reliable performance across extreme temperatures
- Fast and accurate data capture
- Long-term scalability for future software and service innovations

This project represents a truly global collaboration. Together with partners such as SOTI and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, and teams spanning Europe to China, Urovo helped deliver a solution tailored precisely to Hermes’s expectations.
“We’re proud to be part of this exciting journey with Hermes Germany,” said Jeffrey Huang, Managing Director at Urovo Europe. “By listening closely to valuable user feedback, we’ve worked together to deliver the best possible fit.”
The success of this product development, production and delivery is a testament to the dedication and expertise of everyone involved—from development and testing to deployment and operations.
“This success wouldn’t have been possible without the strong collaboration between all teams. A huge thank you from all of us at Urovo to the Hermes team for making it happen,” added Huang.
As Hermes Germany continues to expand its digital capabilities, Urovo remains committed to supporting innovative logistics solutions that drive efficiency, reliability, and seamless customer experiences.
